What was hard about it was the whole thing. What was easy was getting the certificate. If I were to rate it I would give it a 0-1.

Posted onI think Betsy Ross made the first american flag because she was a sewer struggling to keep her business alive. Betsy Ross was struggling to uphold her sewing business until Washington and Morris offered to pay 14 pounds of gold to make the first American flag and she took that offer. That is why I believe that Betsy Ross made the first American Flag.

Pearl Harbor
Posted onPresident Roosevelt called this day”a day that will live in ifnfany”
Everybody in the Navy that died was probably asleep in their bed.
At 7:55 AM Japan attacked them.
Remember all the people that died in Pearl Harbor and their family.
Later a memorial was built in Pear Harbor.
Had a war after, that war was World War 2.
At the location of Pearl Harbor there was a navy base, that was their main target.
Right where they sunk is probably where they still are is some battleships.
Battleships that were lost was USS ArizonaS Arizona the USS Oklahoma and the USS Utah.
On the day was December 7, 1941.
Rise to the challenge there were 5 people that gave their own life for others by helping others to safety.
Colonial Life
Posted onIf I lived back in colonial times I would liked to have been a Potter.
A potter made bowls, mugs, jugs, and coffee cups that the colonist needed in their everyday lives. Potters settled in towns where people needed their wares.
I would have liked to have started out in the colony Rhode Island. I think I would like s to be o potter because I love to go do things like that and to do arts and crafts.
I think i would have made good money like $1.oo for a pot or something like that. Each peice of pottery I made would have to be bone dry before firing in the kiln. Once baked, the pot had to dry slowly so as not to crack. The redware, also called pottery the had to be glazed with a special coating the coating was lead like in you pencil. I hope you learned a little more about colonial pottery today.

Plymouth
Posted onPlymouth was one of the first two permanent English settlements in North America. It was one of the first of the original Thirteen Colonies. In 1620 the Pilgrims arrived in Plymouth, near Cape Cod, seeking freedom to worship. Plymouth suffered greatly in the first few years in North America. Winter were especially in winters they were the worst.with their brutal snowstorms and high speed winds. Many lost their live during the winter. The men and women who lost their lives were brave and fearless they may have made some mistakes but they took those mistakes and improved them in the New World.
